I been living in this place for 6 years and I love it...the facilities are great... great gym,we go to watch movies at the recreation center... people at the 80 Absolute are great!!!
Lovely facilities, lovely location, however all these lovely things are managed by people and the people that manage these 5 buildings have one thing in their heads, PENALIZE THE RESIDENTS AND TREAT THEM LIKE GANGSTERS
I will explain below few items and I have material prove of what I am saying.
1–If you order food to your unit (Pizza, Chinese, etc), please be ready to go down regardless the weather conditions, Management orders that all food delivery vehicles to be ticketed right away if they go up to your unit, regardless if it is for 5 minutes (the average time to have a pizza delivered for example). However a car can remain out of the lobby waiting for people for 30 or 45 minutes. The security only call the City Parking Enforcement for food delivery hard workers.
2–If you are moving in, Management wants your Cheque in advance to prevent possible damage, that’s fine, but if you are moving out you better pray to GOD every day to receive your Check back.
3–If you have a visitor and the parking permit expires, the Management oriented the security staff to call the City Parking Enforcement right away, instead of calling the unit owner and ask for the car to be removed or to have the permit renewed, it is the same one phone call, but why be nice to the residents that keep the Management Jobs if they can be nicer to the City Parking Enforcement granting them more revenue?
All I know is that after 3 years I moved out of these lovely piece of engineering but worst ever Management
Some of the reviews here are a bit exaggerated. These buildings are well maintained, amenities are second to none, residents are friendly and the location is very convenient. Security needs to be improved and property management should be more proactive. Overall these
are great buildings.
The worst place ever. I would never recommend this place to anybody.
for the person that says they have never heard of a bad incident at this property. they may have been out of town when the whole property was closed after an innocent received life threatening injuries during a high profile arrest of a wanted felon. every resident had to park at square one as the investigation took place. On June 13 Absolute hit the Peel crime map. It is the only condo development of supposed stature in the Square One area to have break and enter highlighted on the crime map. The sale price development chart on this site I think tells the tale. from 2012-2013 fell almost $30,000. that's more than 10%.
