The location of this building is great as it’s close to Mississauga Valley Park and a big plaza with a “metro” and “pizza pizza”. It is away from the noisy downtown, which is perfect for those that seek the quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Square One is not a far drive. The best feature of this condo that it’s in the middle of everything; the best schools, Square One, the community centre, parks, a plaza, banks and dining. What more does the heart desire! There are spacious one and two bedrooms to choose from, and a one and a half bathroom in the two bedroom units. The kitchens are open concept and have stainless steel appliances. There is also in suite laundry available. This condo also offers lockers that are on the same floor as your unit. There are large windows, large closets and hardwood flooring.
The Obelisk Condo – Amenities
Many buildings such as this condo offer luxurious facilities such as an exercise room and gym, swimming pool, beautiful kept gardens, BBQ facilities are sometimes offered, whirlpool, sauna, racquet sports (such as tennis, squash and racquet ball), billiards, ping pong, recreation and other party type rooms are available. There is underground parking for residents and guests. The central community centre is a few minutes drive away, you will find area golf and putting greens, and much more all within a short distance. Most of the newer condos in Mississauga are a “smart-wired” building, you should check if this is available in each unit or building.

The building is essentially dilapidated and is continuously deteriorating every single day. Everything is old and/or broken. The management is unresponsive and there has been a high turnover rate for some reason. The security consists of unresponsive and inexperienced individuals (but to be fair, this seems to be the general case for most buildings as becoming a security guard does not require a high standard).
However, the worst part of this particular building is the superintendent, Peter. He has a history of illegally entering suites without notice and/or without legitimate reason(s) as well as charging residents for services that are included as part of maintenance. He's personally threatened me before. Still deciding whether to contact a lawyer.
Regardless, the only thing decent about this particular building would be the location. That aspect is undeniable. However, taking into consideration the above, I would not recommend living here.
