About Marilyn Monroe Condos AKA Absolute World
The Marilyn Monroe condos are located at 50 and 60 Absolute Avenue, Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 0A9. L4Z 0A3
Marilyn Monroe Condos Location & Features
Located in the heart of Mississauga its practicality and convenience attracts many buyers locally and distantly. Absolute condos are minutes away from Square One, TTC, GO and Highway 403.
Absolute condominiums were built by Fernbrook homes. Absolute condo community is made up of five condominiums 50 Absolute, 60 Absolute (known as Marilyn Monroe condos), 70 Absolute, 80 Absolute and 90 Absolute World Condos.
Marilyn Monroe condos have put Mississauga on a global map becoming a landmark for the city and defining Mississauga’s skyline. They have attracted both tourists and investors from all over the world and were sold out within 2 weeks of opening!
Officially called Absolute Towers, the building and its shorter and slightly less buxom twin, were the result of an international design competition in 2005 won by the MAD Architectural Design Studio of Beijing beating 92 other submissions. Company officials have credited the project with giving both Mississauga and their firm a global profile.
The condos have become known as the Marilyn Monroe condos, resembling the hourglass figure of Marilyn Monroe.
That’s a view shared by Hazel McCallion, the city’s long-serving octogenarian mayor, who says the project represents Mississauga’s arrival as a “global city.” “This is not the end; it is just the beginning,” she told reporters last fall.
Living in the Absolute community is like living in a 5 star hotel. All of the condos share a common 30,000 sq ft amenities section that is known as the Absolute Club, which is shared by all the Absolute residents. It is a 3 story recreation and exercise facility that is both indoor and outdoor.
The Marilyn Monroe Buildings consist of 30,000 sq ft of amenities, including:
- A two story gymnasium featuring areas for basketball, baseball, and volleyball. It is also surrounded by an indoor running track.
- The area includes an exercise complex, aerobics center, Yoga/Pilates space and a weight room, change rooms, showers and locker rooms for both men and women. Full time activity director and personal trainer available on site.
- An elite feature of the club is its athletes lounge with a juice bar
- Heated outdoor swimming pool that has a patio and a fireplace and an indoor pool with a whirlpool, along with spas and steam rooms
- 2 squash courts, a billiard room, and a card room
- A private theatre that is fully furnished with large TV screens, DVD players and surround sound!
- Media room, board room, and a business centre for private or condominium meetings
- 3 party rooms with a kitchen
- A breathtaking sundeck with BBQ facilities and a lounging area
- 5 furnished guest suites

The result of a worldwide architecture and design competition, the tower is a fantastic example of outside the box thinking. Eschewing straightlines, fixed points and vertices, the tower is a slender, graceful curvaceous form of glass and steel with magnificent wrap-around balconies, soaring sightlines and incredible vistas. The suites and penthouses (on the uppermost storeys) provide the ultimate in elegant gracious living.
Spiral Tower 5 (Building E)

The condos at 50 and 60 absolute avenue are undervalued when you compare them with the new condos in queue for pre-construction or condos built within the last six or seven years around square one. There is no premium built into the price for living in an iconic tower and amenities that include a lounge on the top floor coupled with excellent condo management by Brookfield. A tip for those who are reading all these comments, people who write reviews with ALL CAPS are probably reactive and emotional (I hope you are not one of them).
bought condo 2 bedroom 2 washroom and value has gone up ever since the proper management company has been changed things are cleaner you see more family oriented people moving in 50 absolute parking is an issue but i guess winning a dodge ram pickup causes congestions but no issues for myself, management is great new standard laws got passed oct 4 2016 so brookfield management company is doing n excellent job
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY LIVING HERE. FIRE ALARM TESTING AT 7 AM AND 1 AM. NO INSULATION WHICH LEADS TO HOLLOW WALLS EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOU. GARBAGE IS DOWN CONSTANTLY. ONLY TWO ELEVATORS WORKING FOR THE LAST YEAR. NO GOOD USE OF SPACE. I HATE THIS BUILDING!!! OVER CROWDED SWIMMING AND GYM. TERRIBLY BUILD UNDERGROUND PARKING BARELY ENOUGH SPACE. NO HANDICAP BUTTONS IN THE UNDERGROUND. DON'T BOTHER COMING HERE. LEAVE IT TO ROT!
For all you idiots talking s*** and then saying you are thinking about selling, this is probably not the best way to get your place sold! Consumers are always reading up on reviews now a days for every and any purchase, i hope a future buyer for your property reads your review and decides not to purchase. However I do live at 50 Absolute, and although it has it share of issues I have also lived or owned 4 other condo's in the Mississauga and it's just standard issues that come with any condo living. This is an amazing structure both inside and out but more importantly a long term investment which I plan to never sell!
I bought a unit here in 2009 - have been living here for almost 5 years now. When the building was new, yes there were elevator issues and management/security issues...its a new building, what do you expect people? Certain things have to work themselves out. Now, I usually wait 30 secs for an elevator (unless its rush hour times, which can mean 2-3 min waits). The new management company is nice, security has got their stuff together now as well. A lot of people complain about elevator wait times, parking issues, cops and firefighters. If you go anywhere downtown or to other condos that are tall, you will experience all the same issues, if you dont want to wait for elevators or deal with parking or hear the occasional fire alarm, then go live in a house or townhouse. These iconic buildings are in the heart of one of Canada's largest cities...do you expect Police to never show up to buildings which have thousands of people living in them? Come on people....you have to realize that it comes with the territory. If you want utter silence..move out of the city lol! I love living here..it is convenient, people are nice, everything is close by. Would not trade my unobstructed view for any other condo in the area. In my opinion, the buildings are as good as its going to get anywhere around the SQ1 area. If you can afford to live here, then you should 🙂
Are there any fellow owners of units in 50 Absolute that are having issues with the "Special assessment" that was just given in November 2014? I am trying to see who else has issues with paying this large sum for such a new building and being treated like pretty much garbage by property management and the board. Please contact me.
Absolute mess. Everything is always broken. Management gives 0 f**k. Police are here all the time. Someone just got killed recently. Crazy. Thinking of moving out.
The buildings are top-notch. As a long-time resident, I've had to wait for a maximum of 5-7 minutes for an elevator to show up during peak use periods. The residents are friendly and helpful. Some of the young male security guards, however, are rude/crude and I hope that their surly/suggestive attitude improves or that they get replaced. The Mississauga News, with the weekly flyers, used to be delivered to my old condominium, but not here; as a student, having the flyers in hand was very convenient. Also, keeping the lounge open longer would help facilitate my research.
All-in-all, Absolute World is a nice place to live. Some people at concierge and in management could and should treat residents better, but those individuals don't reflect the entirety of the diverse population present here.
If you do decide to stay at the Absolute condos, welcome!
Nice looking on the outsideside, same old cookie-cutter condo on the inside. Notice how most people who love the place are investors? Why would they "crap in their own bed" while offering a revue that is generating possible income.
The place looks older then it is. It comes with all the goodies that most other condos come with. Fire alarms, noisy neighbors, weird/disgusting odors, heat issues, water issues, elevator issues, cheap materials and mediocre quality workmanship.
I currently live in 50 Absolute. I'm not sure why I see so many negative reviews. Yes, there has been issues in the building with water and elevator. But you have to understand, any NEW building - WILL have these issues...however, the management was quick to jump in and fix them. They are unique condos...prices will definitely go up.
The only downside I see is the parking...but I visited other new buildings in Toronto - and saw the same problem. So cant really complain.

Please Note: Although the below sales history information is deemed accurate, the information provided is often oversimplified and not a true representation of the building’s price trends. For instance; many buildings have less than 15 sales transactions in any given year, and a single sale of a larger penthouse unit, can result in a significant spike in the “average price” of units sold in that building. When buying or selling it’s always advisable to have us complete a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) to ensure fair market value.
