I have lived in the Mansion since it was built, 27 years ago. It is a great building, well managed, well maintained. We are lucky to have the best project manager, office manager and office staff, and superintendent in the city of Mississauga. However this web site confuses "The Mansion" at 55 Kingsbridge with "The Park Mansion" at 45 Kingsbridge. They are very different condos with different residents, and management. My recommendation and my residence is 55 Kingsbridge, NOT Park Mansion.
The security is one of the main reasons I've lived in "The Mansion" for so long. I like the security patrol the common areas regularily rather then just have one guard at a desk all day long. The building is well managed and organized. I've never had a problem reserving a bar-b-q in the summer on the weekend or the party room for a function in the winter. The grounds are kept immaculate. The landscaping shows pride of ownership and only adds value to our investment. You will never find dirt or debris in the elevators or hallways. And people still great each other as they are coming and going. That's hard to find in any community these days.
This place horrible and is run by generally terrible people. There always seems to be a new rule concerning every facet of the complex. These rules are used to restrict services/amenities and charge you all kinds of extra fees.
They have cameras throughout the building and they are constantly monitoring you. It is very creepy to be playing pool or working out and have a security guard downstairs talk to you about it. It feels as if you have no privacy.
The culture of this place is highlighted by its administrators. You will have to deal with them every time you want to reserve something like a guest bedroom for a visiting family member. The rule is that these reservations have to be made with an administrator. This is fine, until you realize the administrators work about 4 hours a day. They come in late, take two hour lunches and leave two hours early.
The place has some great spaces and great amenities. Unfortunately the way Park Mansions is run makes it a more frustrating experience than living somewhere should be. I would avoid living here.
