Matt is clearly an idiot. The Quick Facts about the building state there are only 589 units in the two towers not 3500 units. If you're going to post a fake review trying making it believable. I live on the 19th floor and have never had to wait 10-25 minutes for an elevator.
lived here for a year now and 8 months have been down 1 elevator, 6 of those months with just 1 elevator working for 3500 units...it takes 2 months to get a notice from management that they called someone and they will be coming out in about another month. Be prepared to wait 10-25 min for an elevator on ground floor, up to an hour on high floors. Everything else is great here, but this is huge problem that keeps happening with no urgency to fix.
So, I too came to this site looking for reviews on the building, so to the person who is looking to rent or buy here let me just say that this condo is a wonderful place to live. To the person saying it's not soundproofed, I beg to differ. I have a neighbour with a dog that barks all the time and we can hardly ever hear it inside our unit. Other than that and a few things it's WONDERFUL. I'll go through the total Pro's and Con's of living at limeight, but do know that i LOVE it here
SO. BEAUTIFUL. If you're picking which building to live in, I absolutely recommend 360. I live on the 15th floor, which is lower than what I could have gotten in 365, but I face the highway and the view is BREATHTAKING. All the appliances look extremely sharp, and work wonderfully. We thought we'd hate the carpet in the bedroom, but we actually love it! Super easy to clean, and feels good under your feet! The condo itself is great, the gym is superb, no judgemental feeling or anything! There's loads of classes that are free, and the option to get a personal trainer which is great. Not to mention the beautiful party room, and a place to grow veggies! Security is also extremely friendly and considerate of your situation
CONS: So, for some reason we're getting A LOT of cupping in our flooring. It may just be us, because our floors were replaced once before we moved there, but its just extremely soft and cupping uncontrollably. The walls scuff very easily, which I think has to do with the paint they used. We use a mr clean eraser very lightly to get it off. There is one shift of guards, early night shift, and one of the guards has no clue whats going on and the other is just a jerk. Which is a little annoying, but whatever. The elevators sometimes malfunction a teenie bit (nothing that stops you from getting anywhere) and I've noticed my boyfriends key fob doesn't work on one of the doors.
Most of the cons are subjective and may not happen to you at all! So go for a tour and stop reading reviews online, you'll love it!!
I love limelight, the building is amazing! I do miss having a swimming pool but the building is still very close to everything. I love Regal security they have really nice guards working there such as the 2 females and the Polish night guy!
OK, so far I have rented at limeight for 2 months. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars. I live in many condos before, and this condo is one of my favorite.
I like the quality of finishes, I like the people, I like the security and I love the location.
Only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because I miss having a swimming pool :(.
condo front door is not soundproofed at all - can hear everything from hallway and other units on the floor including blasting rap music and conversations.
cement floor under flooring of unit isn't soundproofed - while sitting in the bedroom can hear other residents through the floor (knocking sounds, heels clicking, etc.)
gym is small but decent. full size basketball court is good but people who work can't use it after work because there are always classes. only time is early morning.
