City Gate Condos Location & Features
These condos become popular for a number of reasons. Firstly, the City Gate condominiums were the first buildings to offer lofts in Mississauga. This was over exciting for many buyers, as up to this point the idea of a two story condo was unheard of in Mississauga. Next, the location is right in the heart of downtown Mississauga. Square One, bus terminal, city hall, library, coffee shops are all within walking distance.
Finally, the north facing balconies are great for those who like to have a view of Square One shopping center and Celebration Square. During days like Victoria Day and Canada Day, the north suites of City Gate condos offer some of the best views of the fireworks.
There is a water fountain, grand fireplace and a lounge located right in the lobby. A 24 hour concierge as well as shuttle service to the GO Station makes these condos very appealing.

We just had our carpets done on our floor, 24/7 security and we got lucky with only 5 units on out floor... I have been living there for two years and haven't even seen or heard any of my neighbours. Low maintenance fees that include everything.. even hydro. Hard to find a place like this in city center!
worst condo i ever owned might as well move to the ghetto 3939 duke of york
full of back page dirties low life small time renters that sell drugs an think their something big on top of it there people of different ethnicity that poison the grass out side so ur pets get sick when you walk them maintenance is trash and unreliable elevators never work carpets r dirty all the time .. it was like i jus paid to move tot the ghetto thank go i sold my condo there an moved on ... think twice
Rude property manager. Missed a maintenance fee payment because i travelled and i got a rude call from the property manager saying he will sell my apartment. only 2 security guards are nice. The others are rude. Overall good building amenities but rude people.
I live at 220 Burnhamthorpe and I absolutely love it. I never hear my neighbours, security is always on point (strict which I appreciate as an owner). It is very well maintained and incredibly clean in comparison to most condos. Very happy with my purchase.
My boyfriend and I moved here around Xmas 2013 and the main selling point here for us was the all utilities included thing. Other than that, this place is ****.
There is always at least 1 or 2 elevators down so you have to wait FOREVER for one...the security is laughable and are completely useless...and the neighbours...where do i start. Almost everyone that I come across reeks of weed...we are having serious problems with our neighbor and security doesn't seem to give two **** about it and we have complained multiple times...the heater wasn't working when we first moved in and now that it's summer, guess what..the air conditioner isn't working. It's one big joke really. The fire alarm system speaker in our condo is crackly and the alarm itself comes on and off during a fire alarm (which are mostly false btw)...we have a security system in our unit which we didn't even bother activating b/c the one time that we tried to the damn thing kept beeping incessantly even after the battery was taken out!! Wtf!!
Oh and the parking garage is a gauntlet to maneuver in and out of...if you happen to come across another car good luck trying to figure out to pass w/o scratching your car or theirs...it's almost like the it never occurred to the people who designed the garage layout that maybe TWO cars would have to pass each other..it's ridiculous!!
We are tired of this place already and CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT!!!
