I hear constant complaints about this place but I haven't found it all that bad. I've been here since April so I haven't experienced any of the apparently 4 floods that have happened, but I haven't had an issue with the elevators besides a 2 or 3 occasions where one or two of them are down (which does suck, I'll admit), and I leave and return during rush hour every day. The security guys have all been great to me when I've dealt with them too. No issues with parking, the garage is laid out fine in my opinion but I'm on P2 so I don't know what's below. Everyone I've met in the elevator has complained about this place but I've been perfectly happy with everything here so maybe the 30th floor is some magical place where these things don't affect me...who knows. I'm pleased to live here.
Regardless of what happened with us there, all issues with parking, garbage chute, elevators, water, heating, amenities etc... There is a bigger problem, this building has 330+ units in 36+ stories and ONLY THREE ELEVATORS! So even if all of them are working (which is very rare) then guess what the elevator comes full during rush hours! you have to be good at squeezing in or you have extra 10 minutes to spare every time you use the elevator. If you have a kid and a stroller or you're carrying something then good luck with that. Can I rate a -5 Starts?
There really are no "pros" regarding living here, this place is a disaster. Constant elevator issues, broken down garbage chutes (so everyone leaves garage in those little rooms), extremely incompetent superintendent and management. Rude, lazy and incompetent concierge that is rarely at the front desk. You can only get 12 hour parking passes, so don't forget to get one before bed or you'll get a $70.00 ticket (private company though, payment optional). There are hundreds of these units for sale for a reason - everyone is fleeing. The new building going up beside it is from the same company, so it'll be a dive too I am sure.
I have lived in Condos before but Never have I experienced such poor construction, management and security. After the last flood the management and guards actually told me climb 38 floors (36+P1+P2) with my 2 year old till elevators get fixed. When the elevator started manually my child had to wait 1 hr of the elevator to come to P2 and then the same day we again had to wait for 1 hr for it to come to 36 so that we can go down. Though I kept calling the guard but he forgot about us and after 1 hr he sent the elevator. Has anyone seen a 2 year old waiting?? But no everything is fine for the management.
Then there is no supervision about the parking because someone parked at my place yesterday and people at front desk told me its ok I should just park at P1. I mean it seems if you live here you are at your own risk and if there is any problem solve it on your own.
Overall I am Highly Disappointed the way emergency situation are handled in this building.

Steve, if you've been in the condo for a year, its not up to the builder to respond to you, its registered, its up to the property management to answer now. IF you don't like property management, get your condo board to fire them.
The building is very very cheaply built, There were 3 incidents of pipes bursting in less than a year, once in summer and twice in winter. The elevators get flooded and their boards fry which makes residents go up and down the stairs for at least 2 weeks before they are fixed.
The management is terrible and the building is the worst i've ever seen in my life.
On top of that the initial design of the building is very depressing (hallways) and the parking is very poorly designed, You have to take a full round in every floor to reach the ramp
The building is made with very cheap materials, in 1 year we had 3 floodings, and this shuts down the elevators, heaters and coolers. Amacon do not respond to any of the complaints, its like the residents do not exist.
This actually happens in the 3 buildings of the same complex, (4099 Brickstone Mews, 4065 Brickstone Mews and 4070 Confederation Pkwy
We had the elevators out for at least 3 weeks in the first flooding.
On top of that the fire alarm keeps triggering almost once a week and one day its stayed on for 1.5 hours before we got an announcement on the situation.
This building is the worst i've ever encountered in my life. Definitely stay away for your own sanity.
