Capital Towers condo for sale, Sell my condo and Compare

Please Note: Although the below sales history information is deemed accurate, the information provided is often oversimplified and not a true representation of the building’s price trends. For instance; many buildings have less than 15 sales transactions in any given year, and a single sale of a larger penthouse unit, can result in a significant spike in the “average price” of units sold in that building. When buying or selling it’s always advisable to have us complete a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) to ensure fair market value.

Reiterating other reviews - a great building/security staff are excellent/convenient location .... BUT management are most definitely NOT problem solvers or supportive towards condo owners. The condo fees are ridiculous and just keep on going up for reasons only the management can justify! objections and comments from condo owners are never addressed. Despite increased condo fees the building maintenance is on a slippery slope.

The location of this building is perfect - shopping, medical and transport services on the door step. Gym and pool areas are well maintained. Security staff are ALWAYS helpful and try their very best to solve any queries. Sadly, this cannot be said for management - they are not proactive, helpful or communicative - it seems that there are constant obstacles instead of solutions from the office staff and their superiors. "Work" on the air duct system has been ongoing for over a year and to date management have refused to communicate exactly what the "problem" is. Condo fees are outrageous, they increase yearly yet standards decline. The Board of Directors have not addressed or minuted concerns despite my request for them raise an issue in the Board Meeting last yeear. In conclusion - if you're looking for a great location, this is the place! If you're looking for supportive and active managers/board of directors then look elsewhere.

The building and the amenities are excellent! The concierge/security are quite good as well. However, the Management is absolutely horrendous. They are extremely rude and condescending. It's a pain dealing with them when it comes to things like using the Party room. If the management could be changed, the condo will easily be the best one in the neighborhood.

Great condo but it has had MULTIPLE double digit maintenance fee price hikes. To top it off building management had workers enter my unit and create holes in the wall in both the bedroom and living room. Then cover it up with blue tape. It has been like this for four months while I am being told they are "working" on it

This is a reply to TOM who wrote below.

I own a unit in the building & yes management is probably the worst compared to any surrounding condominium. We are moving in a the near future. 13% is accurate to the fee hike and it is due to poor management. They are very unfriendly, refuse to answer questions, the board of directors are NOT solution oriented and we have false alarms in the building at least twice a month in the middle of the night

Shit building

I thought this building was fantastic and was aggressively shopping for the right condo. Upon receiving the status certificate, I have discovered that the building decided to increase their maintenance fees by 13%. When I called the management office they said it was to offset the costs of heating from this particularly "cold" winter. I asked if the fees had a chance of being brought down next fiscal year if they are able to recoup the costs of weather from last year. They said that's impossible.

The outrageous maintenance fees for a building only built in 2005 is a serious alarm for potential new buyers. That reality has not caught up with sellers and sales agents who are pricing the condos based on location. For a condo board or management office to hike up the fees by 13% just because of a bad winter is a major red flag of poor fiscal management. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we live in Canada, and winter is not a surprise occurrence here. They are acting like the building just survived a hurricane.....

The fire alarm goes off weekly, sometimes twice a week. Security is poor. I've had strangers make it up to my door and items stolen from my vehicle.
